Not long to our gathering at Wowo in June. There’s over 100 of us going now and that’s just the ones I know about, as there are others we know who’ve booked directly with the campsite.. Seems like there’s a lot on with Melissa of Viva Paella turning up on Friday night offering meat, fish and veggie paellas. Apparently, there will be a session of woodland creations, nature games or tall tales of magical trees by Millie Hawkins for the little ones on the Saturday afternoon. We’re also trying to see if Rob Fallon of Wild Nature will do a bushcraft session for the slightly older kids too. Wowo now have an earth oven and are promising do let the kids make and bake a pizza on the Saturday evening along with the free soup and music they put on. We’re also going to try and persuade them to do breakfast as it seems that they don’t do this any more. On Sunday there’s a marathon 6 hour father and son bushcraft session for fathers and sons on Father’s day, so hopefully we’ll have lots of stories when we get back.
